Prospectus

Outsourcing jobs has become increasingly popular and easier due to technology. The outsourcing of jobs is when a job is sent overseas. The reason for this is that workers in poor countries offer cheaper labor than do workers in more advanced countries.
What does outsourcing mean for Americans that are losing their jobs because it is being transferred to some other country to somebody who will do it for less money? What does it mean for the people who are receiving the job for smaller wages? More specifically, how is this going to affect this generation's job future?

Out sourcing will not last forever. The other countries provide a sub par product and will soon be asking for higher wages. Out sourcing is going to cause Americans to either, accept lower wages or continue their educations to make themselves more marketable in todays global economy.

This is definetly a topic I would like to know more about. Hopefully you'll be able to find some good information for it. I'm wondering if experts believe this trend will continue to grow or if they expect it to slow down.

I really like this topic- I can't wait to see what you find!
Try reading/skimming/spark-noting Thomas Friedman's The World is Flat. (If you haven't read it already.) He argues in the book that outsourcing is actually good for the US and it's quite interesting and relevant to your topic.

good and "in the news" topic. a lot of people experience this subject way or the other -- this past weekend I just called the IBM helpline cause my laptop died, and I realized that the helpline was based somewhere in India
